The Role:
The HR Generalist will complete administrative duties for the Human Resources Department. We are looking for organized individuals with strong attention to detail to add to our dynamic HR team.
Responsibilities:
- Administrates company benefits.
- Responsible for company compliance with HR laws and regulations.
- Handles applicant’s interviews and new employee onboarding as needed.
- Manages employee records.
- Confirms that the company is compliant with OSHA standards; handles any OSHA issues.
- Maintains and expands knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting HR management.
- Handles the workers’ compensation claims process. · Assists with tracking employees’ time off records.
- Administers the FMLA process and accompanying paperwork.
- Manages safety training and implements any new safety policies and procedures.
- Assists in any special projects within the HR department as needed.
- Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years HR experience required
- Associate’s degree or equivalent of 3-4 years experience/education in HR.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
Job Details
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000 – $50,000 per year
